Every guitar collector comes to the moment when it is time to thin the herd.
Joe Walsh joked that he's selling items to "get more stuff," but the sale clears out a "knee-deep" accumulation of musical history.
It is a little sad for the collector, but it is an opportunity for the rest of us.
Our show, “Every Guitar Has A Story” has allowed me to meet so many guitar players, guitar makers and guitar collectors. One of my all-time favorites is Hal Hammer.
Hal, like Joe Walsh, is also knee-deep" in an accumulation of musical history.
He has some historic guitars, as well as a lot of very interesting “player” level guitars.
